We help a few children to school. We do this through the Victor Monroy Trust that we’ve set up. This small foundation was originally established in 2006 to finance the Babyhome. When the orphanage closed, the goal of the foundation changed along. The money that was collected when Solomon Gakuru, Samuel Habineza and Suzanne Nyandwi were still babies, is now going to school fees for the same and a few other children. Treasurer Bram Jaquet was prepared to stay on, together with the new chairman Ian Gaukroger and secretary Paulien Bakker. If you want to know more about the foundation, send us an email.
In Rwanda we closely work together with the foundation A life less ordinary, a project of the Johnsons family in Australia. We share the same country manager: the former deputy director Prince. He makes sure the money we sent is directly transferred into the school bank accounts.
